Vintage Conklin Crescent 30, BCHR, USA. C: 1920. Not Working, needs nib tipping!

Here is a Vintage Conklin Crescent 30, BCHR, USA. C: 1920. Near Mint Condition (less missing iridium from nib tips). This is one of the earliest of the “threaded cap”, being it has the reverse threaded section (later became friction fit).
Both cap and barrel have remarkable color, chasing, imprints, gold-plating, threads and so on.
To qualify how nice this pen remains, notice the tiny hand with pen, going into bottle of ink, between the words: “TRADE --- MARK” on the lower barrel! This is a used pen, extremely well cared for and has NOT been re-blackened. It is just that well preserved.
The Conklin 3 Toledo nib is 14k, Fine point with full flex, is missing 99% of it’s original iridium tipping. **See last 2 photos. Being the tipping is not there, we are unable to test. This pen is being sold as NOT WORKING, but has a great deal of appeal, as to appearance!
The pen has a new latex sac.
Measures 5 7/16” capped and 6 ¾” posted. Also notice how pocket clip lines up with crescent. This is an amazing Conklin Crescent 30 (possibly pre 1920) and as is, will be quite nice in your collection of Vintage Black Hard Rubber Pens!
