    Description

This, I imagine, was a booklet put out by the
    Veedol Oil Co.
for its customers in 1924. Called "
    101 Economics For The Motorist"
, the introduction mentions that the book contains 101 practical suggestions for the motorist. If you know anything cars, you will cringe at some of the things suggested. For example, making your own body polish. "To one gallon of turpentine add one pint paraffin oil, three and one-half ounces of citronella, one and one-half ounces of oil of cedar. Before applying a body polish use a feather duster to remove all dust from the surfaces requiring the dressing." Don't you want to run out and try this concoction on your car with its clear coat finish? And remember, there are 100 more great ideas in this book.
