USED Generay SSL-36B Soft Strip Bicolor LED LIght. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Originally purchased for an event installation that was closed before it ever opened, due to COVID restrictions last March. These lights have been in storage for most of their lives, and are in excellent condition. I will do my best to remove all sticker residue from labels used to identify the lights on location.
A handful of these make a great location or photo studio lighting package. Either running off of A/C or battery (battery adapter not included). I've run two of these for over four hours off of one Ryobi 150w Power Inverter (no adapter required). Plus the ability to remotely control multiple units from one primary unit makes it easy to adjustment color and intensity.

The
Genaray SSL-36B
strip LED features a unique form factor that provides even illumination along its entire 36-inch length. In the studio, it’s perfect for lighting head-and-shoulders portraits and tabletop photography, and it excels as a hair or accent light. The bright LED array has an integrated diffuser for a soft wraparound, single-shadow beam. This bi-color light is constructed with full-length barndoors that can cut the beam to a very narrow strip, which gives precise control over light and shadow on subjects or backgrounds.
The SSL-36B runs on AC or battery power (battery not included). The fixture boasts a temperature range of 3000 to 5600 K and a TLCI greater than 97 for superb color rendition. Power output is controlled by a digital control box that adjusts the output level in 1% increments all the way down to 0%. Passive cooling eliminates the need for a fan so there’s no fan noise that can disrupt a video shoot. A lollipop mount is included for precise and easy positioning in any orientation.

Bi-Color Light
The SSL-36B boasts a color temperature range from 3000 to 5600 K. You’ll be able to match ambient light whether it’s a tungsten interior or a daylight exterior. And the color temperature adjusts in 50 K increments so you can exactly match other lights in your setup.
Integrated Barndoors
The full-length barndoors shape the beam while they control light spill. You can use the barndoors to cut the beam to a very narrow strip to focus the light on a very specific area like your subject’s eyes, or to add interest and drama to your background.
Lollipop Mount
Having the freedom to position the light in multiple orientations is one of the great advantages of the SSL-36B. The included lollipop mount attaches the SSL-36B to a light stand and gives you secure stability while it offers the flexibility to position the light in any orientation you need.
0% to 100% Dimming
If you only need a subtle hint of an accent on your subject, the SSL-36B has you covered. The output is digitally adjusted in precise 1% increments all the way down to 0%., so you can dial in the exact brightness you need.
Battery Powered
If the first thing you do when you arrive at a location is hunt for a nearby power outlet for your lights, then a V-mount battery powered light can be a life saver. A V-mount battery adapter is included, which is a great convenience if you’re shooting on location or in a large room where there’s no nearby power outlet.
AC Power
For indoor and studio shoots where outlets are readily available, you can run the SSL-36B on AC power with an included multi-voltage 100-240 VAC AC power adapter.
Flicker-Free Light
The SSL-36B emits a flicker-free beam that eliminates strobing that’s common when you shoot slow-motion video under other LEDs or fluorescent lights.
High TLCI and CRI
High TLCI and CRI at all color temperatures ensure accurate color rendering right down to the subtlest skin tones and changes in hues due to changing lighting conditions. Your exposures and videos will appear natural with colors that pop and vibrant textures.
Quiet
The SSL-36 boasts fanless passive cooling, so there’s no fan noise for your microphones to pick up during a video shoot.
Integrated Transmitter and Receiver
The SSL-38B’s control box had an integrated transmitter to remotely control other lights’ color and power. The integrated 4-channel receiver let’s you set the light on an isolated channel and receive brightness and color adjustments from another SSL-series light.
Remote Control
Genaray’s SSL-RC remote transmitter (sold separately) allows you to control color temperature and brightness settings from up to 100 feet away. Remote operation is a must if your shoot requires you to control a single SSL-series light remotely. And it’s a huge convenience when operating several SSL-series lights at once because you won’t have to continually return to one of your lights in order to adjust the settings of your other lights.
