Music bio of The Cure, titled "A Visual Documentary," written by Dave Thompson and Jo-Ann Greene. 96 pages and printed by Omnibus Press.
This is a New / Unread copy of the original 1988 book. There were later copies of this book, where it was reprinted. A new updated edition was released in 1993 that was subsequently translated into other languages, but this copy for sale is one of the originals from 1988.
This is full of pictures, contains a discography, and breaks down each year (through 1987) into events that happened by date. It is a great "starter" book for a history of the band and their work, with lots of great photos. It is not really for in depth reading as much as other Cure bios, but holds a lot of nostalgia for many because it was one of the first books ever written about The Cure. (The earliest was another book, also written by Jo-Ann Greene, which contained much of the same information.)
I purchased this book new and it has been carefully stored and is still in new/mint condition, but it is over 30 years old.
