    Description

Offered for sale is some beautiful silverware from Pan American World Airways.   There are five knives and five forks.  (Sorry, I have no spoons.)  The pieces for sale are quite heavy-duty when compared to typical airlines silverware. They are all made of stainless steel and were manufactured by Northland Stainless in Mexico. The fork has the airline's globe logo on the bottom of each handle.  The knife has the same globe logo on one side of the blade.  Each has the "swirl" pattern at the base of the handle.
Generally known as Pan Am, it was our major international carrier. The peak of its route system included 86 countries on 6 continents  in 1968.  It's ceased operations on December 4th 1991. Many of its physical assets were sold to United airlines. Other assets, like this knife and fork set, scattered to the four winds.
If you're interested in additional sets, please let me know before you pay. I may still have some.  Condition is "Used".  Shipped with USPS First Class Mail to United States addresses only.
NOTE:  As the seller and buyer both agree that the US Postal Service is an acceptable means of shipment, should the shipment be lost by the Postal Service, the seller and buyer will split the loss, resulting in 50% of the total payment to be refunded to the buyer by the seller. With hundreds of sales I have never had a shipment lost by the USPS, but just in case.  Also, the amount charged for shipping is always more than the cost charged by the USPS.  That is because eBay charges 13.5% on any money collected for shipping.  For example, a .00 shipping charge to the buyer results in the seller netting .32.
