Multnomah County. Round, 38 mm. diameter, unholed. This encasement is f
rom the Terry Trantow collection. He was the author of the "Catalog of Lumber Store Tokens" book and passed away in 2013. This encased is still in its original 2X2 holder written by Ace Reiswig of Oregon Trail Coin and Stamp in Gresham. The back has Terry's note that he purchased it 9-10-89. The penciled price on the front (erased but still visible) shows that Ace sold it for .00 back then. It is worn and the penny has some linear toning, as seen in the pictures.
