    Description

This planetag is an authentic piece of the fuselage of the famous Gimli Glider, a Boeing 767. The 3rd picture is of the actual aircraft after it landed.
On July 23rd, 1983, this miracle plane bearing tail number 604 for Air Canada ran out of fuel at 41,000 feet. Captain Robert (Bob) Pearson and crew avoided major catastrophe,  managing to glide the aircraft safely through the air to make an unheard of emergency landing at Gimli.
