1920 GAS STATION WAYNE PUMP SIGN EDINA MN SERVICE GARAGE PHOTO AUTOMOBILIA
What a cool photo!! This circa 1920. ( The George Hartzell Garage) photo is from the 50th and France area of Edina, Minnesota. Later, it became a Chyrsler Plymouth Auto Dealership. An Ebayer emailed me that his dad worked there in the mid 1960's(after Randy Lite Studeabaker on Lyndale Ave in Minneapolis went out of business. Also sold Willys Jeep for a while. There are a lot of great signs-Goodrich Tires, Oakland service, Acetylene Welding and more. The gas sign says 16 cents. It is a sharp and clear 8 X 10 inch black and white with white border glossy real photo. Made off of the original negative. A high quality razor sharp photo that you will love! The person in the picture is the owner, George Hartzell of Hartzels Edina garage located on 49th and 1/2 st. The building is still there. It had two openings, one on 49 st. and one on France st. He died in about 1950 when goured by a bull on his farm, this picture would be from 1920. The pumps are Wayne 275 and were mfg. between 1915 and 1925. This would look great framed! I will ship in a photo mailer for safety.
